以当今物质丰富的日本社会中，被人遗忘于一角的，每天无法吃饱饭的儿童们为视角拍摄的电影。小学5年级的勇人，父母经营着一家食堂，他和妹妹每天过着衣食无忧的安稳生活。另一方面，勇人的好朋友贵志家则是完全不管孩子的单亲妈妈家庭。因此勇人的父母经常把贵志带来家里吃晚饭。某天，勇人遇到了和父亲一起住在车里的两姐妹，他便拜托父母为她们做饭。几天后，两姐妹的父亲失踪了。于是勇人和贵志带着两姐妹开始了令人意外的行动......

South of Beirut, Lebanon is a 68 year old refugee camp housing refugees from Palestine, Syria and Iraq. Many have lived in this camp their entire lives-- Mariam AlShaar is one of them. Now, Mariam has pulled the women of this camp together to do what has never been done before. They started with a small kitchen from a micro-loan. With nearly insurmountable political odds against them-- they look to start the first refugee food truck. Their journey is one of many ups and downs but it is the community that is built, their sense of hope and how they see themselves that makes this a moving, touching film about their journey. Mariam has been known as 'the crazy lady' and now she will show just how crazy she is.

以人体脂肪测量仪、活动量计、步数计等健康器材享誉海内外的百利达（Tanita）公司，俨然成为健康生活的代言人。但可能是公司待遇过于优厚的原因，从副社长长谷川幸之助（浜野谦太 饰）到底下的许多员工，却都吃的脑满肠肥，其健康状况自然不敢恭维。某天，幸之助的爸爸——同时也是百利达的社长卯之助（草刈正雄 饰）突然病倒，这个背靠大树好乘凉的公子哥一下子被推上了最高决策者的位置。此时公司正准备开发新品，而卯之助也督促员工减肥以配合新品的宣传。愁眉不展的幸之助求助于曾有过营养师经验的同学春野菜菜子（优香 饰）帮忙。
百利达的减肥大作战正式拉开序幕，胖子们的受难日就此开始……

In this humorous paean to the joys of food, a pair of truck drivers happen onto a decrepit roadside shop selling ramen noodles. The widowed owner, Tampopo, begs them to help her turn her establishment into a paragon of the "art of noodle-soup making". Interspersed are satirical vignettes about the importance of food to different aspects of human life.

Ichiko bakes a cake for an end-of-year party with her friends. In the depths of winter, making mochi and curry keeps the people of Komori warm. Later, spring brings thoughts of her absent mother as well as rice planting and sakura, and she begins to think of leaving Komori behind again.

Fleeing heartbreak in the big city, Ichiko returns to Komori, her rural hometown. She battles summer's rain and humidity, bakes her own bread, grows hothouse tomatoes and tills the fields. During autumn, the time for pickling and preserving fish and sweet potatoes, Ichiko begins reaping rice and recalls her departure five years before.

本片根据安倍夜郎的同名漫画改编，是该系列剧集的第三部，山下敦弘和熊切和嘉等知名导演参与制作。

在早已逝去的江户时代，武士阶层中有一个特殊的群体，他们就是专为将军或者藩主准备料理的菜刀武士（包丁侍），虽然无法上阵杀敌，但手中的菜刀确实丝毫不亚于武士刀的重要存在。加贺藩首屈一指料理人舟木传内（西田敏行 饰）年事已高，原本作为继承人的长子突然病逝，而次子安信（高良健吾 饰）专爱舞刀弄剑，厨艺却令人不敢恭维。在藩内一次盛大的宴会上，藩主侧室阿贞夫人（夏川结衣 饰）身旁一个貌不惊人的侍女，却凭借着出色的味觉和对料理的才学感悟令传内所钦佩。在此之后，传内再三恳请，终于让名叫小春（上户彩 饰）的侍女同意嫁给安信为妻。小春过门后，通过一场料理对决令丈夫甘心随她学习厨艺。
安信在妻子的辅导下，渐渐成为足以独当一面的合格包丁侍。可就在此时，一场血腥风暴向加贺藩袭来……
