@Das_Gespenst Yes, I understand this dynamic. I have some basic understanding of how Japanese works: there's hiragana, katakana and kanji, and the former two work like an alphabet. Must be nice having this kind of ease of access to at least the reading part of another language. It's a shame Korea and Vietnam have moved away from Chinese characters. Otherwise you could've understood them too.
