This vinyl album captures the travel diary of Hsien-Ching’s early songwriting journey with producer Jerry Lee. In addition to the “Cloud Driver,” they brought along three musician friends and packed the car with instruments . They headed to a small cabin in the mountains, with no metronome and no fixed structure—just instruments, microphones, and three days and two nights of continuous recording. The result feels like a sleepless carnival on Animal Farm. Of course, some post-production touch-ups were inevitable afterward, but the final record still preserves, as much as possible, the atmosphere and spirit of that original moment.
