Experimental film made by painting directly onto the film strip using ink, pens, sand, etc., with no camera. A film that decisively renews the tradition of painting on film. It is an abstract, silent film, with no unifying plot line, in which the only characters are forms and colours. In the words of the artist: The film’s strange title, ...ere erera baleibu izik subua aruaren..., has no meaning, it is made up merely of syllables that sound something like Basque. In order to ensure that the only lead character in the film was the painting itself, J.A. Sistiaga did not even want to give the work a title, but given the political situation of the time (the film was made when Franco’s regime was still in power), censorship left him no choice. So, he rang his friend and fellow artist Rafael Ruiz Balerdi, and asked him to invent a title that had no meaning but that would sound like something said in the Basque language. The name that Balerdi came up with on the spot became the definitive title of the work.

Parking is director Jacques Demy's homage to Jean Cocteau's 1948 masterwork Orpheus. As in the Cocteau film, Demy relates the Orpheus and Euridyce legend in a contemporary setting. Now a rock 'n' roll sensation (instead of the poet of the Cocteau film) Orpheus falls in love with Eurydice, who in this version is a sculptress rather than a princess. The rest of the film adheres to the familiar story. Euridyce, who is death personified, beckons Orpheus into Hell, ostensibly to revive his dead lover. A shade brighter and more buoyant than its source material, Parking is the usual Jacques Demy brew of beautiful imagery and hokey dialogue.~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Based on a concept album project written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, and the subsequent long-running Broadway performance, this film tells the story of the final 6 days in the life of Jesus Christ through the troubled eyes of Judas Iscariot. Too often mis-labeled a musical, this film is a "rock opera." There are no spoken lines, everything is sung.

"The work is a found footage work: i.e., a montage of short clips from existing films. The films are from all over the world, including Fran c e, chinese mainland, Hong Kong, India, the US, etc. Each of the clips shows an image of a clock marking the time. The work lasts for 24 hours, and it is synchronized with the time of the location where it is shown. For instance, if you see the work in London and it is now 11:25 AM, then you will see on the screen a clock or watch pointing at exactly that time. It has been shown in London, New York, and Venice. It received an award in Venice. " - Hector RODRIGUEZ
