SYNOPSIS
A barmaid Mi-ryung meets Dong-hun, a poor college student. She begins to take care of him after his car accident and soon falls in love with him. She runs a street cart bar to support Dong-hun. One day Chil-yong comes along and blackmails her for money. Trying to hide Chil-yong from Dong-hun, she goes with him to meet Bok-sil. On the way they are in a car accident and Chil-yong dies from the crash and Mi-ryung is missing. Believing that Mi-ryung is dead, Dong-hun engages to a woman from a wealthy family. Before his wedding, Dong-hun, trying to forget Mi-ryung, goes horseback riding. There, he falls off his horse and loses consciousness. Mi-ryung, now blind, stops the bleeding in his arm with her necklace and when Dong-hun sees the necklace, he goes looking for her.
