In another lifetime, a Spanish couple takes drugs and teleports through their television set. A troubled young man travels through the countryside and meets a lost woman. During the trip, they discover a museum housing the expatriated paintings of the most important Filipino artist of the revolution. Eventually, the Spanish couple disappears toward their colony. Inspired by one of the earliest teleportation accounts, which happened between the Philippines and Mexico during the colonial period.

El molino narra la historia de Mayte (Pilar López de Ayala), una ingeniera que regresa a un pequeño pueblo para llevar a cabo un importante proyecto. Su visita coincide con el evento anual del valle. Jaime (Asier Etxeandía) su amor de la infancia, un anciano con Alzheimer, una joven que sueña con salir del valle, una licenciada que trabaja junto a la ingeniera y una mujer que busca el futuro en el pueblo, componen esta historia de personajes cuyas vidas están conectadas por un viejo molino.

When three estranged sisters, Gloria, Ana and Lidia, meet up again on the death of their mother, Adela, they find themselves obeying her somewhat eccentric last wishes. Though their mother has spent the last 30 years without uttering a single word, she has left very clear written instructions of what she wants done after her death.
