The Lamp in Assassin Mews
To beautify his street and trim city spending, stuffy councilman Jack (Francis Matthews) pushes to have the last gas lamp in town removed. But this angers his neighbors Albert (Ian Fleming) and Victoria (Amy Dalby), an inconspicuous pair of serial killers who choose Jack as their next victim. This dark comedy also stars Lisa Daniely as Mary, a local advocate who fights tooth and nail against Jack's modernization efforts.

Two teachers, man-hungry Doris and restrained Marian, visit the Yorkshire moors a year after friend Evelyn disappeared there. Doris flees as soon as the flood subsides; but Marian's suspicions about Evelyn's fate, in conflict with her growing love for Stephen, prompt her to stay on among the misty bogs.

Dante Fontana is an antique dealer from Perugia infatuated with the culture of the British upper classes. His wife and relatives mock him and snub him, seeing him as a silly daydreamer doing no serious work. Unfussed, Dante plans a vacation to London to learn more about the culture he so admires. However, once in London, he struggles to fit in, is awkward, often makes mistakes betraying his Italian origins, attracting the scorn of the British upper classes he would like to impress.
