A museum heist with an unusual twist: the three thieves are all physically disabled. The men, one confined to a wheelchair, one with prosthetic hands, and one blind, plan to steal a valuable statue. The men use teamwork and ingenuity to beat the high-tech security and get in and out with the statue. However, their plan is not foolproof, as a museum guard recognizes their M.O. and pays them a visit.

Joe Velasco is awarded parole for good behavior, promising to live life as a reformed man and avoid the underworld activities which landed him in jail. But almost immediately following his release, a series of occurrences begin to steer him back towards the road to ruin.

The Cowardly Lion, of the Omaha Circus and close friends with balloonist Oscar Diggs, is swept away to the Land of Oz, where he—and a number of new friends—cross paths with the Wicked Witch of the East, who seeks the mysterious Flower of Oz.

After the Civil War, ex-Union Colonel John Henry Thomas and ex-Confederate Colonel James Langdon are leading two disparate groups of people through strife-torn Mexico. John Henry and company are bringing horses to the unpopular Mexican government for $35 a head while Langdon is leading a contingent of displaced southerners, who are looking for a new life in Mexico after losing their property to carpetbaggers. The two men are eventually forced to mend their differences in order to fight off both bandits and revolutionaries, as they try to lead their friends and kin to safety.

Sandy Stockton was a very sweet and slightly naive young woman from downstate Illinois who was experiencing big city life for the first time as a student at the University of California at Los Angeles. She also worked part time as an actress in television commercials, and was befriended by her neighbor Alice and her landlords, the Harwells.
