FOX单镜头喜剧试映集《文化大冲击 Culture Clash》（前名《我们大不同 Our People》）由以色列剧《Nevsu: A Young Multicultural Couple》改编，Vali Chandrasekaran负责执笔﹑Lee Daniels当制片；剧中讲述主角Abel来自一个视隐私如无物的非裔大家庭，而他未婚妻Jenny则来自中西部家庭，这对伴侣希望过普通的生活，然而「普通」一词对两方的定义可不同了。
《破产姐妹 2 Broke Girls》主演Beth Behrs饰演来自中西部﹑脾气火爆的Jenny，比起Abel更愿意对抗别人的歧视（虽然她比较像是爱找架吵）。Biniam Bizuneh饰演男主Abel，该角原本由Bernard David Jones饰演。
Lea Thompson饰演Jenny的嬉皮士妈妈Lisa，可以说女儿的火爆及武断皆得自Lisa的遗传﹑Matthew Glave饰演Jenny那悠闲有爱的父亲Nick。
Charles Parnell饰演Zohar，Abel及Aisha的热情父亲，对埃塞俄比亚传统十分固守﹑Saidah Arrika Ekulona饰演Zohar的妻子Gigi，以自己的传统为荣，两夫妻对Abel为结婚而离开家庭表示不满。Skai Jackson饰演Abel的妹妹Aisha。
