On 10th and 11th August 1996, 250,000 young music fans converged on Knebworth Park to see Oasis play two record breaking, era defining shows. This version, included on the 'Oasis: Knebworth 1996' Blu-Ray/DVD, was shot on the 10th and was remastered in 2021.

In August of 1996, Oasis, riding high from the overwhelming success of their first two albums Definitely Maybe and (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, were to perform on the hit MTV series Unplugged. However (as was often the case), problems arose within the band, namely between the most well known members of the group, Noel and Liam Gallagher. An argument began between the two brothers, ultimately ending with Liam bowing out of the concert. The idea of postponing, or cancelling the show outright, was discussed, but thankfully, Noel decided to go ahead and sing lead vocals. What some initially thought of as a potential disaster ended up as a brilliant performance from Oasis sans Liam, and for the first time, gave the entire world a good look at what Noel could do.

With their second single released just days prior, Oasis takes the stage at Glastonbury 1994.

Standing On The Edge Of The Noise is a unique, intimate look at Oasis performing in their own space, instead of the huge stadium stages on which they are more often seen. The programme includes a mix of classics and new tracks from Dig Out Your Soul. It's a one-off live show that they played for a handful of fans in their rehearsal studio, as preparations for their 2008/2009 "Dig Out Your Soul Tour". Black Sabbath, Queen, The Stone Roses, Oasis, Coldplay, Simple Minds, Robert Plant and Manic Street Preachers are some of the greatest bands and musicians of our time, but what is the one thing these titans of music have in common? This film tells the unlikely tale of how two Welsh farming brothers turned their dairy farm into one of the most successful recording studios of all time, producing four decades of legendary rock music. It’s where Queen recorded their seminal Bohemian Rhapsody, featured in the Hollywood blockbuster of the same name. But Rockfield’s own story has never been told until now. Fifty years ago, deep in the Welsh countryside, brothers Kingsley and Charles Ward were starting out in the family dairy farming business. But they yearned to do something different – they wanted to make music. So they built a studio in the attic of their farmhouse and started recording with their friends. Kingsley’s new wife Ann left her job in the local bank to do the books, and they continued farming all the while. Animals were kicked out of barns to make way for recording equipment, and musicians were moved into Nan’s spare bedroom. Inadvertently, they’d launched the world’s first independent residential recording studio. Rockfield’s reputation spread like wildfire, quickly garnering international acclaim. From Black Sabbath, Hawkwind and Queen, to Simple Minds, Iggy Pop and Robert Plant, and later Oasis, The Stone Roses, The Charlatans, Manic Street Preachers and Coldplay - an unbelievable roll call of artists have made music and mayhem at Rockfield. Innovatively told through archive, animation and personal interviews, Rockfield: The Studio on the Farm is an extraordinary story of rock and roll dreams intertwined with a family business’s struggle for survival in the face of an ever-changing music landscape. Amazingly, Kingsley Ward and his wife Ann, now in their 80s, are still at the helm today, with daughter Lisa 'front of house'. The film is the debut documentary feature from director Hannah Berryman, produced by Catryn Ramasut from award-winning Welsh production company ie ie Productions.

The documentary is an analysis on each of the songs (including bonus track "sad song"), and they also talk about the journey of making this album. You also get live performances of all the songs which were recorded from various venues. And one of the things I like about this DVD is that it contains the music videos for all the songs released from the album (the "live forever" video is the US version). There is a Limited Edition version which contains a bonus DVD. On this DVD there are two more live performances (of live forever and the Beatles song I am the Walrus). Also there are more interviews with the band on making the album. I hope another DVD will be released for "whats the story (morning glory)?"

Lord Don't Slow Me Down is a rockumentary film, looking back on British band Oasis' Don't Believe the Truth world tour which took place from May 2005 to March 2006. The film is directed by Baillie Walsh. A handful of fans-only private screenings took place around the world with the world premiere of the film at the Directors Guild Theater in New York City on November 4, 2006 as part of the CMJ Film Festival. The UK television premiere was on Channel 4 on November 19, at 11:50pm, although it was a heavily edited version with approximately 40 minutes cut from the original 95 minute version. The film was unveiled to coincide with Oasis' best-of album "Stop the Clocks", released on November 20, 2006. A preview of the film was included on the Let There Be Love DVD single, released in November 2005. The film features a new Oasis song also called "Lord Don't Slow Me Down", written by Noel Gallagher and recorded during the Don't Believe the Truth sessions, Gallagher described it as being "one of the best things, like The Who, The Yardbirds and the Jeff Beck Group combined, and it's got two drum solos on it!". He has also said that his girlfriend thought it was the only Oasis song you could dance to. The song was left off 'Don't Believe the Truth' because Gallagher felt that including it would have meant he'd have been singing too many songs on the record.

A documentary about the former Oasis frontman, Liam Gallagher: As It Was,will be marketing its market debut, with Altitude looking after international sales. Altitude will also co-distribute in the U.K. with Lorton Entertainment. The new comes just two years after the release of the doc Oasis:Supersonic, which Lorton also helped distribute. ( )
