天气一天天地转凉，此时已是深冬，而世间的气氛反而愈加热烈起来。第二天就是圣诞节了，快乐的米奇带着爱犬推开房门，乘着夜色向森林深处走去。今天是圣诞前夜，他们要去伐一棵圣诞树。米奇唱着欢快的歌，布鲁托则全神贯注寻找圣诞树的味道。他们的举动引起了小松鼠钢钢和牙牙的注意。两个小家伙嘲笑布鲁托呆头呆脑的样子，他们有意戏耍这条一根筋的小狗，结果引得布鲁托一阵咆哮，他们则躲在树上偷笑。可是，令两只小松鼠没想到的是，他们藏身的树竟被米奇砍倒背回了家中。
快乐的米奇完全没有发现小松鼠，他高高兴兴地将糖果、彩球等各种饰品挂在树上。小松鼠们俨然到了一个美好的乐园……

爱吃橡果的花栗鼠钢牙奇奇和大鼻帝帝（Chip & Dale，分别由詹姆斯·麦克唐纳 James MacDonald以及黛希·福林 Dessie Flynn配音）身边的果实都吃得一干二净，他们肚皮瘪瘪，饥饿难耐。在不远的湖中央，伫立着一棵果实茂盛的橡树，但是对于不习水性的花栗鼠来说，那棵橡树就有如海市蜃楼般遥不可及。这时，他们在湖边的小屋中发现一艘帆船模型，于是灵机一动将模型扛到水中，扬帆远航。
这个模型的主人正是唐老鸭（克拉伦斯·纳什 Clarence Nash 配音），看到奇奇和帝帝擅自拿走他的东西，唐老鸭大为光火，于是想出鬼花招将这两个小家伙好好整治了一番。不过为了梦寐以求的橡果，奇奇和帝帝勇往直前……

喧嚣繁华的大都市，人们有如螺丝钉一般附着在城市这台机器上，终日匆忙奔波，疲惫不堪，却不知工作和生活的意义何在。高菲和周围的人一样，每天干着枯燥乏味的工作，只为挣取稀薄的薪水，反而失掉了很多的东西。他向往美丽迷人的夏威夷，于是跟随梦想的指引来到了这片悠闲的乐土。睡个懒觉，盖间茅草屋，即使漏雨变成了落汤鸡也是无上的享受。间或躺在吊床上，兴致所至画一笔画，或为构思已久的长篇小说添上一字。一切随心所欲，徜徉自在。去他的解聘书，还你一个“老子不干了”。
在这里时间也变得缓慢黏稠，安享乐土，连死亡也算不得什么了……

Andy Panda is the painter and his dog, Butch, is the pointer, and Andy is trying to paint a portrait of Butch doing what a bird-dog is supposed to do...standing still and pointing to the game-bird. But Butch won't stand still. Andy's solution is to rig a gun to go off if Butch moves a muscle. Butch gamely resists all temptations to move but a couple of spiders carry him off in their web, with the gun going off repeatedly and peppering Butch's posterior.

Milton the cat is walking down the street and notices a yard full of delicious milk, birds, and fish not realizing it is guarded by Pluto. He shows his inferior minded pal Richard the set up and both help themselves to the goodies but are chased out by Pluto. From that point on, they try to get into the yard without waking Pluto using such tactics as sling-shooting Pluto out of the yard with his hammock and underwater diving for fish with a makeshift diving helmet.
