Grown up son arrives home to learn his father, the newly elected mayor, has been assassinated. So he journeys down a path to find the assassin and gets involved with two opposing yakuza gangs.

昭和二三年、ＧＨＱ民政局次長チャールズ・ケージスは新内閣を野党第一党・民主自由党を中心とした連立内閣とすることを要望し、総理大臣には民自党幹事長・山崎猛が望ましいと伝えた。しかし、党長老・松野鶴平の強引な奇策、吉田の側近・林譲治の必死の巻きかえし、さらに党総務会における一年生議員・田中角栄の大胆な発言などによって形勢は逆転し、一〇月一五日第二次吉田内閣が成立した。吉田は、みずからの勢力を拡大するため議会の解散をはかり、翌二四年選挙において民自党は圧勝、この時以来吉田学校と呼ばれるようになる吉田派は大量の新議員を誕生させる。二月一六日、第三次吉田内閣が発足した。吉田はまず平和条約草案の作成のために外務次官太田一郎を中心とするプロジェクトチームを極秘で結成、太田らは血のにじむ苦難の末、吉田の要求に答える草案を作り上げた。続いて再びマッカーサーと会見、池田勇人、宮沢喜一の渡米許可をとりつけた。二人の渡米の表向きの目的は、アメリカの財政・経済の視察であったが、吉田が二人に託した密命はしかるべき人物を捜し出して、対日講和の下打合せをしておこうというものである。二人は国務省ドッジ公使と接触することによって役割りを果した。二六年朝鮮戦争が勃発した。消沈する吉田のもとにＧＨＱからダレス国務長官顧問の面会要請の連絡が入る。ダレスは吉田に早期講和に賛成する旨を告げたが、付帯条件として日本の再軍備を出した。吉田は断腸の思いで警察予備隊の設置を認めた。政敵・鳩山一郎の追放解除にともない謀将・三木武吉を中心とする鳩山派の動きが日増しにその不気味さを増し、アメリカが執拗に日本の再軍備を要求するなか、吉田学校のメンバーは九月八日、遂に対日平和条約調印を実現させた。それは日米安保条約とともに結ばれたものであった。対日講和が調印され日本国内は新しい政治局面へ向って動き始め、吉田自身には鳩山・三木との宿命の対決が待っていた。

Astronauts Glenn and Fuji investigate Planet X and encounter mysterious aliens known as the Xiliens, who ask Earth's people to help save their world from "Monster Zero". In exchange for borrowing Godzilla and Rodan, the Xiliens offer a cure for cancer. As Glenn investigates, he develops a romance with Miss Namikawa and uncovers the Xilien's true intentions.

Searching for his brother, Ryota stows away on a boat belonging to a criminal alongside two other teenagers. The group shipwrecks on Letchi island and discover the Infant Island natives have been enslaved by a terrorist organization controlling a crustacean monster. Finding a sleeping Godzilla, they decide to awaken him to defeat the terrorists and liberate the natives.

At the turn of the century, all of the Earth's monsters have been rounded up and kept safely on Monsterland. Chaos erupts when a race of she-aliens known as the Kilaaks unleash the monsters across the world.

伸一（吉田辉雄 饰）和健次（鸣门洋二 饰）是两个靠出卖赛马信息混日子的青年，他们的行为惹恼盘踞赛马场的黑帮重宗组。被追得走投无路之时，两人慌乱逃进重宗商事老大（田崎润 饰）的情妇由美（三原叶子 饰）的车中。二人不知内情，随由美来到重宗控制下的夜总会消遣，如同羊入虎口。危急之时，伸一凭借出色的枪法得到重宗赏识，将二人招至麾下。
另一方面，走私商人黑岩（天知茂 饰）将一批黑枪卖给重宗商事的对头梶川组，然运输途中为伸一等人截获。事后黑岩和梶川组皆追寻黑枪下落，无奈之下重宗计划用伸一和健次顶罪……

時は戦国、武田勢の冷酷無残な仕打ちに愛想をつかした若き忍者越智吉丹は、一国一城の主の夢を抱き、諸国をさまよったが、この吉丹を、武田随一の忍者の雀の三郎左がつけ狙っていた。三郎左とは別に吉丹を狙っていた銅子播磨と吉丹は、ふとめぐりあった山猿のような田舎武士にすすめられ、馬借隊の群に身をかくすこととなった。馬借隊とは、有吉宗介を隊長に、お磯ことさぎりが指揮し、米や塩をはこぶことを職業としていた。この馬借隊に当時の最新式武器“種ケ島"の運搬をたのみに来たのが例の田舎武士、実は織田家の家臣木下藤吉郎だった。藤吉郎のたくみな弁説に有吉の一党はこの運搬をひきうけた。また藤吉郎は村上水軍の参謀百蔵と滝姫を口説きおとしてこれまた運搬をやくそくさせた。種ケ島が運び込まれた日、村上水軍の船に武田の忍者が襲いかかったが、荷の中味は石コロだった。一方、有吉の一党も荷をつんで出発した。これを追う武田の忍者たち、そして更にだまされたと知ってこれを追った村上水軍たち。随所ではげしい戦いが展開され、ついに武田の忍者のため全滅しようという時、蜂須賀小六をひきいた藤吉郎が現われた。そして荷の中味はニセモノで、ほんものはすでに小六たちが運んだという。これを知った吉丹は藤吉郎のとめるのも聞かず、さぎりとともに平原のかなたに消えていった。
