米克（西恩·潘 Sean Penn 饰）的个性桀骜不驯，向往自由的他不喜欢被束缚，性格火辣但单纯。一场车祸中，帕克（埃塞·莫拉雷斯 Esai Morales 饰）的弟弟不幸成为了遇难者，而此事件的罪魁祸首，正是莽撞大意的米克。为此，米克被送入了少管所，在那里，争强好斗的米克成为了头头。
