Late-Soviet screen adaptation of the novel "A Pale Horse" by Boris Savinkov. A group of anti-tsarist revolutionary terrorists plot to assassinate the governor of a provincial town.

The professor's widow Vivi Cassel has three daughters: pretty Irma and Paula and unattractive, but smart, sharp-tongued Elsa, who is humiliated by the condescending attitude of her sisters and mother. She decides to prove that being a woman is much easier than being a person. After visiting a beauty salon, she makes not only her sisters' suitors fall in love with her, but also the mother's fiancé.

The youth construction team celebrated Anatoly and Varya's wedding with fun. Without giving importance to the first quarrel, Varya, however, once admitted to herself that she did not understand Anatoly's aspirations for a cozy furnished life. She tried painfully to understand her husband, who was jealous not only of her work, but also of her friend Kostya. When the spats became more frequent, Varya took little Vasilk with her and traveled to the Urals together with the installers.

Late 21st century. Archeologists unearthed a company of century-old military robots, but lost them during the transportation. Robots hide on an uninhabited island and later kidnap Alisa Seleznyova, a teenage actress playing Little Red Riding Hood, and Baba-Yaga, a mischievous robot actress playing a witch. Now those two have to stop the robots before much damage has been done.

They are neither adults nor kids - somewhere in between, living in their separate boys and girls cozy dorms and doing whatever they love to do - inventors, artists, poets, mechanists, scientists and....just dreamers! These enthusiastic and creative folks enjoy their half-adult, half-childish lifestyles and entertain each other with the different tricks and practical jokes. The main hero stands out of the crowd - while the others try to live the normal life socializing as they can, he can never be rested, always coming up with the different unpredictable and unexpected moves, which always make viewers burst with laugh....

To Moscow have arrived the participants of the international conference of the zoophilologists and also the international jury which is to elect for the world festival the best performance of the program of Moscow circus. Mrs Whistler (Iva Janzurová), British associate professor, makes her understood with the animals in their language but the Czech professor Ruzicka (Jirí Sovák), though he is capable of using the animals language, prefers teaching the animals the human language. Ruzicka's friend, the poodle Archibald, speaks "in Human" very well. The scientific dispute ends with a bet - if Ruzicka teaches the circus elephant to sing, Mrs Whistler will eat up her hat.
