Melvin lives a boring life, running an antique shop and sneaking off to 42nd Street to watch dirty movies, while dreaming that he too may some day seduce a woman. One afternoon, he finds a strange old urn that, when rubbed a special way, unleashes a genie capable of satisfying his every wish.

Long out of circulation, Deep Throat Part II was conceived as a soft-core sequel to the highly successful Deep Throat. The film was written and directed by sexploitation virtuoso Joe Sarno and shot on 35mm in the New York City area in early 1973. It was released in the U. S. in early 1974 with an MPAA "R" rating and quickly disappeared; porn journalist Al Goldstien, writing in Screw, called it "the worst film I have ever seen." The existing U. S. version of the film now on DVD is bowdlerized; the Italian DVD release version contains the film's original soft-core sex scenes. There has long been an urban legend that the film was shot hardcore and that the hardcore sex scenes were "stolen" while the film was in post-production; this claim seems extremely dubious and director Joe Sarno himself has insisted in interview that only soft-core sex scenes were shot for the film. Deep Throat Part II is Linda Lovelace's second feature film (she only officially starred in three). A young Judy Tenuta (comedienne) has a walk-on cameo. The film is one of Sarno's rare comic efforts and contains an unusually polished soundtrack featuring tunes written by, among others, former members of Jay and the Americans.

“At the height of his creative output, director Joe Sarno was known for flinging out an ungodly number of softcore films each year with a surprisingly high standard of quality. Psychological insight, intensely erotic love scenes, and off-kilter dialogue were his stock in trade with films like All the Sins of Sodom and Young Playthings, but sandwiched in between these are some really oddball ones. Case in point: Marcy, a 1968 hayseed melodrama that feels like a stylistic precursor to the country cutie smut films of Harry Novak the following decade like Sassy Sue and Country Cuzzins, albeit with a lot less of that cornpone humor. The plot also feels like sort of a deep-fried riff on D.H. Lawrence’s The Fox, believe it or not, which Norman J. Warren also turned into a sex/sci-fi trash classic with Prey. The plot’s pretty simple. Out in the boonies, young Marcy (Love Toy’s Uta Erickson) has shacked up with the older June (Submission’s Britt), and word spreads like wildfire that the two women are enjoying each other’s company in a way that keeps �em really, really warm at night. Their handyman insists he hasn’t seen the women actually having sex, but they do tend to “rassle around on the ground outside” before retiring to their bedrooms. Hmmm. Muddying the waters even more, the local men all seem intent on bedding both of them to prove that it only takes the right man to make a girl swing, and the advances aren’t always refused. Of course, it’s only a matter of time before we find out what’s really going on as one of Sarno’s trademark girl-on-girl scenarios finally plays out for the camera.

A man-hungry suburban woman feels frustrated since she lives in the home of her prudish aunt and cousin, who interrupt and criticise her amorous liaisons. A co-worker brings her to a tarot-card reader, who introduces her to a club of women who meet occasionally to share an intoxicating brew, tease each other erotically with long-stemmed roses and honour the heathen god Pan. The occultist manages to corrupt the aunt and cousin, and lure the woman into full-fledged membership so she might participate in its climactic ritual.

Henning is a fashion photographer driven by visions of artistic glory. He is encouraged by a literary agent to produce a volume of erotic nudes and works to create the perfect layout with his favorite model, Leslie. All seems to be going well until the mysterious Joyce appears; dark and sensual, Joyce plays games with the photographer's ego, driving a wedge between Henning and Leslie and seducing one of his other models. Blinded by his own ambitions, Henning is unable to see the ruinous web that Joyce is weaving.
