纽约布鲁克林黑人社区生活着各个族群的人：黑人、意大利移民、韩国人.....意大利移民Sal（丹尼·爱罗 Danny Aiello 饰）和他的两个儿子在这里经营一家比萨店很久了，Mookie（斯派克·李 Spike Lee 饰）在店里负责送外卖，经常和Sal的儿子闹矛盾。 Radio Raheem（Bill Nunn 饰）是一个喜欢提着一个收音机大声放着音乐到处走的年轻人。炎热的一天，黑人小伙Buggin' Out（吉安卡罗·埃斯波西托 Giancarlo Esposito 饰）发现比萨店墙上挂着的名人照片里没有一个黑人，十分不满；而Radio来到比萨店，却被Sal要求关掉收音机。心怀不满的Buggin' Out和Radio决定找Sal讨个说法，三人在争执中，Sal把Radio的收音机砸烂了。Radio大怒，便和Sal打了起来。警察赶来了，围观的人也越来越多，一场种族间的暴乱即将到来......

　　杰克•拉莫塔（罗伯特•德尼罗 Robert De Niro 饰）出身于纽约的布鲁克林区。自小便进行拳击训练的杰克很快就在拳击界崭露头角，他因在比赛中出拳迅猛，打击对手毫不留情，表现得就像一头公牛，被称为“愤怒的公牛”。

亨利•希尔（雷•李欧塔 饰）从小不学无术，跟着老大保利，靠收取保护费、走私、抢劫，他娶了美丽的妻子凯伦，有可爱的女儿，迷人的情妇，名车豪宅，生活优渥。
吉米•康维（罗伯特•德尼罗 饰）和汤米（乔•佩西 饰）是亨利的好朋友，三人一起经历和很多事情：杀死羞辱汤米的意大利黑手党头领比利•贝兹；策划德航劫案，并干掉同伙，私吞赃款；甚至背着老大保利贩毒。
当然，他们的生活，除了享受金钱带来的权势之外，更多的，是朝不保夕的动荡：汤米因为比利•贝兹的死，被人枪杀；亨利自己因为贩毒被警方逮捕，其他人也受到牵连。

Osvaldo and Mabel, an Argentine couple exiled for political reasons in the United States, travel to their country of origin after ten years to reconnect with their family and friends, including "el Negro", Mabel's brother, and his wife, " the Yoli ». Mabel offers her brother the possibility of working in New York with the aim of improving their economic situation, but his wife is opposed.

This movie is silly but never stupid, so you can just enjoy it for what it is...a Jersey mob comedy. Principals DeVito and Piscopo are life-long friends who live next door to each other in Newark, and their source of income comes from the mob figure (Dan Hedaya) who allows them to pick up his dry cleaning and start his car (this was a funny scene..DeVito starting a car that might explode..the entire neighborhood clears out in 20 seconds! Plus the other mobsters bet on the outcome!) and go to the track for him. They are sometimes joined by Captain Lou Albano, who is out of his mind but at least did not attach those rubber bands to his face like he did when he was WWF-connected, and he has little patience for either of these flunkies.
Don't want to give anything else away, but the friends are put in the position of having to test their friendship and on the whole, this is a very satisfying comedy with a two leads in good form, great character actors like Julie Bovasso, Antonia Rey, Patti Lupone, Ray Sharkey, and an appearance by Harvey Keitel, too! Plus authentic Jersey locations, including a trip to Atlantic City..
Brian DePalma directed, and he is not renowned for his comedies but maybe he should be.

Charlie and his troublesome cousin Paulie decide to steal $150000 in order to back a "sure thing" race horse that Paulie has inside information on. The aftermath of the robbery gets them into serious trouble with the local Mafia boss and the corrupt New York City police department.

He started out as a soldier, but his talent for murder, including the slayings of his best friends, his wife's brother and his own boss, Paul Castellano, saw him rise to under-boss in the Gambino crime family. However, betrayals within the family saw him break the code of silence and became the highest ranking member of the mob to turn into a rat - 'a rat in a suit,- assisting the government to finally put away the Teflon Don, John Gotti.
