《麦克白》故事发生在处于战乱连年的遥远苏格兰。3个命运女巫的出现，道出了改变命运的预言。麦克白和班柯，两员英勇无畏的大将在战斗中力挽狂澜。国王邓肯将叛变的考顿爵士的封号和领地转封给麦克白，将王位传给了长子马尔康。麦克白和夫人合谋杀害了邓肯国王。因为惧怕班柯泄露命运女巫的预言，也杀害了班柯。女巫们提醒他要小心已逃亡到英格兰的麦克德夫。麦克白为求心安，最后还是杀害了麦克德夫的妻儿。马尔康和麦克德夫从英格兰请到了援军，直逼麦克白所在的城堡。3个命运女巫的预言原是一种双关语，麦克德夫最终杀死了麦克白，马尔康得到王位，成为苏格兰的国王。

　卡拉·诺瓦克（莉奥妮·贝尼希 Leonie Benesch 饰）是一位敬业且理想主义的年轻教师，在一所德国中学开始了她的第一份工作。可在学校发生一系列偷窃事件后，她与七年级学生之间轻松融洽的关系也受到了压力，一次教职工调查更引发了愤慨的家长、有主见的同事和愤怒的学生之间的互相指责与不信任。卡拉被夹在这些复杂的关系中，她试图进行调解，但她越是想做正确的事，她的处境就越是绝望。

Mack the Knife, Peachum and the others are more or less forced to keep their eyes on their own material advantage and to make considerable theatrical efforts to be able to look out for number one and, at the same time, to conceal this very fact. After all: Who wouldn’t prefer to be good?



Barrie Kosky, well-known to the Berlin audience as Principal and Artistic Director of Komische Oper, will create the fifth new production of Dreigroschenoper at this theatre.
