A classic Soviet, black-and-white, animated film by the sisters Brumberg, "grandmothers of the Russian animation". Its plot differs slightly from the original fairy tale.

Ivashko was a small fisherman. Once, Baba Yaga noticed him and decided to kidnap him. She forged a thin voice at the smith's and called Ivashko like his grandmother usually called him...

It is a satirical film for adults about family, the father is an embezzler, the daughter is a hunter for favorable gentlemen, and the son is a blockhead and a drunkard. The offscreen text is the story of the little girl who repeats idiomatic expressions which she doesn’t understand ("he has set going the refrigerators ", "he whips vodka", "he has lost his head"...) and these idiomatic expressions are shown in as they are represented in her mind – in the literal sense. It is one of the first films of "new", "non-Disney" Soviet animation.

1948 film by Valentina and Zinaida Brumberg

The capricious princess mocks the grooms invited by her father, allowing her jester to humiliate their appearance. Angered by the behavior of his daughter, the king orders her to be married off to the first beggar who entered the city. By chance, the "beggar" turns out to be one of the knights rejected by the capricious woman - the prince, who teaches the princess a harsh lesson that changed her attitude towards life.

Anti-Nazi cartoon, in 4 parts, exhorting Soviets to resist "Fascist pirates."

Based on the work of Nikolay Gogol. Handsome blacksmith Vakula who fell in love with village beauty, Oksana, is ready to do anything for her liking. Even to fly on the devil's back to Saint-Petersburg and ask the Empress for the slippers that he can present his sweetheart.
