A hotel owner, in competition with a rival owner, finds a cache of lost treasure on the bottom of the bay after trying to drown himself which turns his life upside down.

The operation is a success, but the unfortunate brain donor was a young man with unfinished business, and soon the memories and desires of this young man overwhelm the judge.

Altieri begins to take part in police raids on criminal activities, and ultimately discovers a conspiracy to overthrow the democratic government.

Carla's flight is canceled, so she heads home about to catch Mario en flagrant. Mario's salvation is Enrico, an old school mate and hapless salesman who shows up to beg Mario to buy toilets so he won't lose his job. Mario signs an order in exchange for Enrico's posing as Monique's husband. Carla invites them to stay overnight and join a business dinner party catered by Enrico's wife, Matilde. Enrico spends the evening trying to avoid her, Mario spends it chasing the willing Monique, and Carla wants to close a deal. Can this farce end happily?

After his Western triumphs, Valerii stepped out of the shadow of Sergio Leone with this distinctly Bergmanesque sexual melodrama.Dionisio is perfect in the title role and this remains her best film, Valerii turns up along the way too. Just when the film hits a period of auto pilot John Steiner turns up in the final reel for a climax that is quite unforgettable. A bit difficult to trace but well worth the effort.

Alfredo and Antonio are recruited to join a Special Force for the police dedicated to fighting the Rome underworld using any tactics they think appropriate. Trying to chase down top mobster Pasquini, they pick on his nymphomaniac sister and literally pump her for information. Their attentions don’t escape Pasquini’s notice and he plans to put them out of commission. Live like a Cop was hugely successful and it isn’t hard to see why. The film begins with an extended motorbike chase at full tilt through Rome which includes a mugger’s victim being dragged behind one bike and a guide dog being run over whilst it’s blind owner is left in the middle of a traffic crossing. When our two hunk heroes capture the muggers, the one still living is “helped” by Alfredo breaking his neck. Porel and Lovelock look gorgeous in this film and their relationship is a very odd one. They travel anywhere sharing one bike, sleep in the same bedroom and share women. This film is almost their romance! Fernando Di Leo provides the script and Deodato has done it justice with flashes of sharp wit, black humour and sassy dialogue balanced along great fights, torture and explosions when needed. The opening bike chase is a little overstated and almost silly by it’s conclusion, but the casual brutality of the violent cops is well done with Adolfo Celi doing well as their Police Captain who tears them off a strip only to ignore their excesses. The film is immensely enjoyable but not in the top rank of great Euro crime as the drama seems a bit scattergun and the amorality a little wearing. Still, it’s a great watch for Euro Crime fans.

An employee discovers the infidelity of the girlfriend and will try to take revenge.

Italy, late thirties. The regime of Mussolini are sent Italian volunteers to the civil war in Spain. On the background of a peaceful village landscapes, behind the walls of the old farmhouses Florianna creating its own dictatorship: everything is run by her brother Guido, who requires unquestioning obedience to his will . He believes all women around is his property, and, as a rooster in the hen house, he constantly confirm this action. His young son Alberto is his problem - all is not similar to the father. He dreams of breaking free from the dictatorial care. When his beautiful cousin Gloria comes to the estate, novel flashes between young people. Guido learns that his sister is going to bequeath her estate to his unworthy son. This heralds a tragic ending.

A police commissioner in a little town in the Italian Venetian province investigates a prostitution ring run by two pensioners; during his investigations he also learns that a former manicurist shacks up with ten students, the prefect's daughter prostitutes to keep her pimp, a famous doctor has sex with his young patients, a headmaster has his eyes on the pupils, a noblewoman organizes orgies in her villa, the local convent is run by a lesbian and his actual girlfriend poses for a hardcore magazine. He wants everything to come out in the open but his superiors try to put obstacles in his way.

Michael is a successful actor, but he has a scandal in his past: at a tender age he knifed his father to death. He and his girlfriend Deborah go to his mother's for the weekend, and are joined by the director and others from a recent film project, who are given a rather cool reception by the superstitious housekeeper Oliver. Soon rude things begin happening to some of the guests, and Michael fears a repeat of his nightmare past is in progress

A few years before he went on to make a big splash in the cannibal sub-genre, Ruggero Deodato directed this successful rip-off of Roman Polanski's brilliant Knife in the Water. Naturally, being an Italian film - there's more of a focus on sex than the relationship between the central couples, but the claustrophobic atmosphere and entertaining characters help to keep the tension bubbling over, which ensures that the movie is interesting for the duration. The film doesn't have nearly as much 'bite' as Cannibal Holocaust and most of the rest of Ruggero Deodato's filmography, but it's obvious that even with this early film; Deodato is a director with the potential to make a mark on cinema. The plot is simple in that it just focuses on two couples. George and Silvia invite Irem and Barbara for a weekend cruise on their yacht. It soon transpires that George isn't the most sensitive man to ever live, and Silvia doesn't seem to mind him treating her badly. The situation escalates, and Irem and Barbara join forces with Silvia for vengeance against George...and three way sex, of course. The film is set aboard a yacht for the majority of its duration, and this makes for a great setting for the movie to take place in. The isolated setting means that Deodato can keep the focus on the characters, which is definitely a good thing for the film. As is the case with a lot of trashy Italian films, some of the characters actions are a bit fishy and the dialogue is largely inane - but these sorts of things don't bother me too much, and Waves of Lust is lots of fun to watch. There are plenty of sex scenes, and while the film features very little blood, it's not important as it's clear where the focus is meant to be. The film doesn't feature any particularly well known performers, although the four central actors would all go on to star in better known Italian films. John Steiner is the biggest standout in acting terms and delivers a good performance alongside eye candy Elizabeth Turner and Silvia Dionisio. Al Cliver (from Zombie Flesh-Eaters) rounds off the central foursome. Overall, Waves of Lust is definitely worth seeing. The atmosphere and tension are good and it all boils down to a satisfying conclusion.
