The prolific New York rapper-producer’s latest album is self-assured and clear-eyed, ushering in an ambitious new era for the hometown hero.

Last year, the Alchemist teamed up with New York rappers MIKE and Wiki for three songs: “One More,” “Be Realistic,” and “Odd Ways.” Now, the trio has announced a full-length album, Faith Is a Rock, which is out next Friday, September 22, via the producer’s ALC Records.
