Vincent, a truck driver, picks up a young pregnant woman. She turns out to have an unstable temper… and an automatic pistol. She orders Vincent to continue driving, without stopping. When he's out of gas, she'll kill him.

In the near future, most people get a "cricket" implanted in their brains: an electronic chip which allows them to switch into "automatic mode". Nathanaël, a cricket repair man, is faced with a moral dilemma when the parents of an autistic boy ask him to hack into their son's chip.
