gentle yet whimsical tale of a rather awkward yet ultimately eventful day in the life of a 7th grade boy. Nominated for an Oscar.

This film is a must-see film for parents of young children and a cautionary tale for those planning a family. Roger and Doris are a married couple. They are childless and they wish for a baby. One night they wish on a shooting star—and that shooting star turns out to be a toddler, a human-seeming toddler who flies through the depths of space and right into their living room.

2009 animated short by Cordell Barker
