16岁的丹尼在相依为命的母亲去世后前往希腊，与18岁的哥哥一起寻找生父。丹尼是同性恋者，也是没有希腊国籍的阿尔巴尼亚混血儿，在希腊面临多重歧视，因此两人在旅途中小心翼翼地躲避异样眼光与欺凌。不过丹尼没有气馁，凭着一股傻劲和奇幻异想，让旅程充满欢乐，更成为兄弟俩的英雄之旅。
