Restaurés en 2K par les Archives audiovisuelles de Monaco et la Cinémathèque française à partir des copies Super 8 avec pistes sonores magnétiques, confiées par le cinéaste et conservées à la Cinémathèque française. Entre 1973 et 2014, Jean-Claude Brisseau a réalisé trois versions du court métrage Des Jeunes femmes disparaissent. Tourné au départ en 8 mm noir et blanc, il réalise une seconde version de son film en 1976, en Super 8 couleur sonore. En 2014, il en tourne le remake en relief. Jean-François Rauger

Fred lives on a low-income housing estate with his young wife Elodie and daughter. What little money he earns he gives away to his friends, prompting his wife to walk out on him. Emotionally devastated, Fred holds up a post-office and goes on the run with a former girlfriend, Sandrine. Hiding in a school, they come across Maguette, a mysterious African who claims to be the son of a deposed king. A visitor comes to the home of Stephane, the wife of an important magistrate. She, claiming attempted rape, calmly shoots him. Michel, a retired math teacher, has lived alone since his wife’s death and occupies his time writing an essay about the beliefs that shape daily life. One day he comes across Dora, a young homeless woman, who shows up injured on his doorstep, and puts her up until she recovers. Her presence brings something new to Michel’s life, but gradually the apartment becomes the site of mysterious happenings.

Two young women find themselves struggling to survive in Paris, street-wise Nathalie, a stripper, and naïve Sandrine, a barmaid. Together, they discover that sex can be used to their advantage, and pleasure.

This drama depicts the misery of neglected children in big cities. 13 years old Bruno is of a good family, but since the death of his grandmother he spends most of his time alone, in a phantasy world, while his mother is away at work. But then he befriends the violent Jean-Roger, who's from a severely disturbed family, where nobody cares what he's doing. In school Jean-Roger drives their teacher into despair just for fun. To separate the two boys, she starts to stimulate Bruno's interests by giving him extra lessons. When Jean-Roger fears loosing his one and only friend, he becomes even more aggressive.

A philosophy professor has an illicit affair with one of his students, a bright yet troubled girl who lives alone.
