2011 film directed by Basma Alsharif

A voice tells its story of the Nakba, the mass exodus of the Palestinians in 1948. The film moves forwards and backwards in time and space, creating a simultaneity. The narrative is accompanied by stroboscopic images of a modern cityscape. The episode from the past raises the question of the future, while at the same time the film traces a fading memory of a place that no longer exists.
