El asesino Joe Oaxaca mata accidentalmente a un mirón y es apresado. Silvestre y su abuelo roban el oro del ejército. Silvestre es aprehendido y el abuelo escapa con el oro. Joe se entera y propone a Silverio huir juntos a cambio de la mitad del oro. El agente federal Tomás Bueno se hace pasar por reo y se une a ellos en la fuga.
