An eccentric woman meets an equally odd man at a group therapy session and they begin a relationship.

When a Tango dancer asks a Rabbi to enter a dance competition, there’s one big problem—due to his Orthodox beliefs, he’s not allowed to touch her! But the prize money would save his school from bankruptcy, so they develop a plan to enter the competition without sacrificing his faith, and the bonds of family and community are tested one dazzling dance step at a time in this lighthearted fable.

Mike Vecchio and Susan Henderson are preparing for their upcoming wedding. However, they seem to be the only two people at the wedding that are happy. Mike's brother Richie and his wife Joan are going through a divorce, which is upsetting his overly devout Catholic mother Beatrice. Also, Susan's father is carrying on an affair and her sex starved older sister Wilma is going through her troubles with her husband Johnny. All this is going on while Mike's best friend Jerry is trying to bed the maid of honor, Susan's cousin Brenda.

Love Is All There Is is a modern retelling of the Romeo and Juliet story. It is set in the Bronx during the 1990s. The Cappamezzas (Lainie Kazan and Joseph Bologna), Bronx-born Sicilians, own a local catering business. They develop a bitter rivalry with the pretentious Malacicis (Paul Sorvino and Barbara Carrera), recent immigrants from Florence and owners of a fine Italian restaurant. The Cappamezzas' son, Rosario, (Nathaniel Marston) falls in love with the Malacicis' daughter, Gina, (Angelina Jolie) after she replaces the obese star of the neighborhood church's staging of Romeo and Juliet. The rivalry intensifies after Rosario deflowers Gina after a fight with her parents.
