In Mar de Sophia, the lyrics sung by Maria Bethƒnia exhale the tang of sea. In these songs Bethƒnia paraphrases and incorporates the verses written by the Portuguese poet Sophia de Mello Breyner. The verses are like bridges that unite the several seas contained within Bethƒnia's creative essence that will be successively revealed. Maria pours out her memoirs in order to render a coherent narration bathed by the waters of legends, myths and stories.
