Perrone returns with a new exploration of his quintessential aesthetic territory, Ituzaingó. This time the night in the western city exudes cinema and theatre. Actors, actresses, directors and producers parade like daffodils from the underworld in a world of jealousy, hypocrisy, idiocy and much more.

P3ND3JO5 (pronounced Pendejos) is a musical featuring ghosts and skateboarders. Music and groove create the atmosphere in this hypnotic, superbly composed portrait of a group of young people in a suburb of Buenos Aires. Ranging from the folk dance Cumbia to classical opera and punk rock, the musical framework contains three episodes: two love stories and one of violence and organised crime. Shot in black and white and 4:3 format, the film is a homage to Dreyer's Jeanne d'Arc, with the dialogues presented in intertitle form as in a silent film. For many Argentinian film critics, P3ND3JO5 is nothing less than a masterpiece.
