3月13号，这是一个阳光明媚得日子。在某棵大树上的小木屋里，唐老鸭的三个小外甥正在计划着什么。原来今天是唐老鸭的生日，小家伙们正翻着广告介绍页，打算为唐老鸭选购一件礼物。几经挑选，他们选中一款雪茄，怎奈小家伙们根本没有钱。不过这并难不倒古灵精怪的三只小鸭，他们商量后走出小屋，在院子里疯狂打扫起来。此时唐老鸭正躺在沙发上睡觉，他被孩子们的声音吵醒。就在此时，小家伙们完成工作，进了屋交给唐老鸭一份账单，上面的钱数刚好购买一盒雪茄。唐老鸭没有办法把钱给了他们，不过却在出门前强迫孩子们将钱存入他专门准备的存钱罐中。
为了拿回买生日礼物的钱，小家伙们真是大费周章……

盛夏时分的沙滩，前来度假的人们成千上万，大家都在沙滩上治好了遮阳伞，放眼望去五颜六色的花朵占据了海岸线的每一个角落。有一只小蜜蜂也来凑热闹，他穿着泳衣，扛着遮阳伞，边哼着快乐的小调边寻找可以晒太阳的地方。好不容易找到一块空地，谁知被唐老鸭捷足先登。反正蜜蜂也用不了什么太大地方，他将就地在唐老鸭旁边安营。只不过这个粗心又有些坏心眼的鸭子根本没注意小家伙的存在，他接二连三的无心之举让小蜜蜂颇为烦恼。蜜蜂提出抗议，怎奈对方根本不把他放在眼里。
一大一小的战争在所难免……

A bee is flying among Donald's flowers when he notices a veritable paradise of flowers in the guise of wallpaper Donald is hanging. The bee is rather frustrated when he is unable to stay on the flowers so Donald has some fun with the bee tormenting him with the fake flowers. The bee gets his revenge when Donald is accidentally pasted to the ceiling by the wallpaper making him an easy target for the bee's stinger.

在今天的故事里，鲁莽而自信的唐老鸭是一个水管修理工。此时他正在一处地下室内修理锅炉房的管道，他手里拿着一个马蹄形的磁铁，有了磁铁的帮助，站在高空作业的唐老鸭可以随时把包包里的工具吸上来，非常的方便。这边厢他正努力工作，那边傻乎乎的普鲁托正盯着盘子里的骨头垂涎欲滴。阴差阳错，仿佛拥有魔力的磁铁引起普鲁托的注意，更为倒霉的是磁铁钻进了他的肚子。惹出乱子的大傻狗被唐老鸭赶出了地下室，然而磁力极为强大的磁铁却给这个家里所有的金属设施赋予了生命一般。
普鲁托战战兢兢，杯弓蛇影，不仅把家里弄得一团糟，还殃及了正努力工作的唐老鸭……

这是一个懒洋洋的日子，警官唐老鸭（克拉伦斯·纳什 Clarence Nash 配音）把车停在正在大街某个阴凉角落里，然后呼呼大睡。就在此时，电台传来呼叫声，长官命令他去抓捕恶徒泰尼•汤姆。唐老鸭毫不怠慢，开着警车呼啸来到817号门前。这座房间破破烂烂，阴森可怖。唐老鸭敲开房门，恶棍泰尼完全不怕这个小警察，一番对峙之后，他被恶棍打飞出去。强攻不行，只有想办法智取，唐老鸭假扮着嗷嗷待哺的小婴儿，用一封假的认父信骗开房门，伺机夺走对方的手枪，还得想办法把泰尼铐起来。
这可不是一项简单的工作，随时都可能丢掉性命呢……

Donald is a riveter who has trouble with the riveting gun, heights, and the foreman, Pete. Pete chases him throughout the construction site, causing the building to collapse. Donald runs away while Pete is trapped in cement, holding a water hose in the pose of a statue.

一个破烂的小巷村，沿途的农舍东倒西歪，上面还贴满了海报等宣传告示。伴随着欢快的歌声，我们看到两个快乐的海报张贴员：唐老鸭以及他的好哥们高菲。他们载歌载舞来到了目的地，开始分头工作。高菲的任务是在一个风车磨坊那里贴海报，谁知一会儿刷子被风车带走，要么就是整个人被浆糊从头淋到脚。另一边厢，唐老鸭在海报上欢快地刷上浆糊，他的旁边有一只贪吃的老山羊，无论什么都敢给吞下肚。山羊吃了唐老鸭的海报还有刷子，这可把坏脾气的鸭子气坏了。
阳光明媚的日子里，两个倒霉的朋友开始了一天多灾多难的工作……

With a rubber bone as a lure, Donald Duck tries to entice Pluto to try his mechanical dog washer. When the bone gives Pluto trouble, Donald tries a toy cat as a lure only to unexpectedly fall into the washer himself, get scrubbed and then hung out on the line to dry.

Donald visits the house of his new love interest for their first known date. At first Daisy acts shy and has her back turned to her visitor. But Donald soon notices her tailfeathers taking the form of a hand and signaling for him to come closer. But their time alone is soon interrupted by Huey, Dewey and Louie who have followed their uncle and clearly compete with him for the attention of Daisy. Uncle and nephews take turns dancing the jitterbug with her while trying to get rid of each other. In their final effort the three younger Ducks feed their uncle maize in the process of becoming popcorn. The process is completed within Donald himself who continues to move wildly around the house while maintaining the appearance of dancing. The short ends with an impressed Daisy showering her new lover with kisses

Donald has to work hard to save his garden and price-winning melons from a hungry badger.

Donald, the consummate tourist with camera in hand, visits Lake Titicaca, high in the Andes of Peru. With a running commentary by an off-screen narrator, Donald deals with altitude sickness, a trip on the lake in a balsa-wood boat, and a ride on a llama who responds to commands that are played on a flute. The ride across a swaying suspension bridge is the high point of Donald's vacation, just before he drops in on a pottery bazaar.

本片为迪士尼公司在二次世界大战期间被政府徵收后，应加拿大国家电影理事会和各地战争节约委员会之邀拍摄的四部宣传短片之一。

Donald and his nephews are the staff of a fire station. Huey, Dewey, and Louie, annoyed by Donald's snoring, ring the fire alarm. Soon, his bumbling sets the fire station itself on fire. They race off at the alarm, not realizing they are already at the destination, and the firefighting efforts go downhill from there.

这一时间社会上的经济出现了波动，鸡蛋价格飞速飙升，已经到了85美分一打的高度。贪心的农场主唐老鸭看到这一消息简直高兴坏了，因为他刚好养着许多母鸡，在鸡蛋简直变成了金蛋的情况下，他必须抓紧时间赚钱。唐老鸭来到鸡舍，只见母鸡们安详地坐在窝中，一边听着舒缓轻柔的音乐，一边闲适地下蛋。唐老鸭对这种下蛋速度非常不满意，他换上一张激烈的唱片，母鸡们受到鼓舞，开始疯狂下蛋。而唐老鸭则马不停蹄地将鸡蛋装入篮筐。这一幕刚好被门外的大公鸡看到。大公鸡非常生气，他将唐老鸭赶走并将其关入木屋。二位了得到那筐金蛋，唐老鸭必须想办法搞定大公鸡……
