A Live Just for Love is the fully uninterrupted set from the El Rey show in Los Angeles on November 30th during the Peter Murphy Just For Love Tour 2000, featuring Peter DiStephano from Porno For Pyros on guitar. The set also features a bonus disc, containing the entire live acoustic encore with former Bauhaus member David J from the December 1st show in Los Angeles. This supplemental disc features Who Killed Mister Moonlight, All We Ever Wanted and Hope. The Secret Bees of Ninth EP release features B-sides from Peter Murphy's recent studio release NINTH. Four of the tracks are previously unreleased non-album tracks, plus the full length version of Secret Silk Society as well as the current single "Seesaw Sway" to coincide with Fall touring.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Peter Murphy will release his 10th solo album, Lion, this June. Today, Murphy has officially confirmed that the 11-track effort will be released in the US on June 3rd via the Nettwerk Music Group. That’s the slightly trippy album artwork above.
In an interview with Billboard last May, Murphy called the album “a mixture of stuff…almost like operas for the dispossessed. It’s very romantic and very deep and emotional, quite symphonic in places, but then becomes, like, a rabble-rousing pirate sea shanty.” A press release adds that Lion “possesses an elegant master of tone – bass heavy, stark, shimmering and symphonic. It sustains a heart-in-throat tension from start to finish.”
