Enrico Melotti, a middle-aged businessman, has a difficult relationship with his wife, maid and secretary/lover. During a business trip to America, his friend Arturo shows him the key to solving all of his problems: Caterina, a female-looking robotic maid that does all domestic chores better than any human.

The Provence, somewhere in the 1950's. Paul Verdier, traveling salesman, leaves his home and his quarrelsome wife for his weekly round. Episode 3 - The Lion (De Sica). Two adulterous, Antonio and Giulia, are blocked by a lion, staying on the exit in the place they met. They both have to come back home, but couldn't move because of the lion’s presence. The critical situation soon drives them to their limit, revealing their real essence.
