Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan: The Aurorient Express is a comic series written by Mike Kennedy and drawn by Lucas Marangon, starring Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi. The series is composed of 2 issues released in February and June 2002.

The plot is about a luxury cloud cruiser which has slipped out of control and is going to crash over Yorn Skot. The two Jedi must board the runaway ship and regain control in just 84 minutes.

The true tale of Irena Sendlerowa, a social worker in the Warsaw ghetto in the early 1940s, during the early days of German occupation. She is credited for saving the lives of 2500 Jewish children by gradually and quietly smuggling them to safety in small groups. While she is eventually arrested by Gestapo, imprisoned, and tortured for her actions, she refuses to reveal her network and is condemned to death. She is ultimately saved from death by other members of her organization.

This second volume focuses on Irena's activities following her incarceration, and her years long mission to locate and reunite the rescued children with their families, which led decades later to her ultimate recognition. Her attempts to locate each of their natural parents for reunion were as often heartbreaking as fulfilling. And while most of the parents had been gassed in the Holocaust, she made it her mission to help those orphaned find new homes.

A criminal using advanced futuristic tech in Metropolis is stopped by Superman who, with Lois, tracks the weaponry to a remote truckstop in the desert. The plot thickens as the truckstop appears abandoned but, like the Mary Celeste, the food is still warm and the place looks like it was recently habited. A doorway out back teleports the two into a distant world where magic and science both co-exist and the mayor is a robot claiming to possess the consciousness of Jor-El, Superman's father!
Writer Mike Kennedy is best known for his work on futuristic comics like Star Wars, Aliens Vs Predator, and Aeon Flux, so it's no surprise to see his Superman take incorporating futuristic elements that make up Infinite City. It's also strange to see that in a Superman and Lois book, both characters are essentially put in a supporting role while a new cast of characters - all of whom only feature in this book - take centre stage. Expecting a Superman book and getting a story of boring, new one-off characters I didn't care about is why I wasn't very fond of Superman: Infinite City.
That and the weird story of the powerplays between different factions in Infinite City. It makes sense up to a point with one group trying to have portals that open up to Earth, while the other opposes it, and then it falls apart in the third act, becoming a convoluted confusion of plot threads I didn't care enough about to try and sort through. Carlos Meglia's art isn't bad but looks a lot like a Disney cartoon and relies too much on shiny computer graphics.
Superman: Infinite City is a pretty dull story that doesn't entertain much nor has much else going for it. If you're wondering why you've not heard of this Superman book, that's why.

When three Hutts place a wager on who can raise the most successful squad of henchmen to procure a highly valuable, mythical treasure, the most conniving rogues of the Star Wars Universe are recruited. Following a lead provided by Jozzel Moffet, a Hutt's slave girl, three teams set out to be the first to find the mysterious Yavin Vassilika. They're hot on each other's trails, trying to stay alive and get a step ahead of the pack. The competitors dodge lasers and search for clues on the planet Kalkovak, attempt to stay afloat on the high seas of Mon Calamari, and become victims of a primitive culture's ritualistic "Cleansing of the Foul" on a backwater planet beyond the Outer Rim. The seductive Jozzel Moffet, wanting to free herself from a life of dancing and Hutt-washing, is moonlighting for a secret fourth investor and is hoping to get the Vassilika from whichever team is left standing. There are grudges galore in this hectic and humorous mad-dash, brought to you by fan-favorite Carlos Meglia (SpyBoy, Crimson, W.I.L.D.Cats) and writer Mike Kennedy (Ghost/Batgirl).
