This Italian film takes a chilling, nonexploitative look into the mind of a nice young man who compulsively rapes beautiful women. The rapes are graphically presented and may be disturbing to some viewers. Outwardly Luca seems to be a normal, quiet 20-year old. His mother is frequently gone. Trouble begins when Luca becomes obsessed with Valeria, the beauty who works in the next building. He begins spying on her, and then secretly filming her with his camcorder. He tries to get to know her, but she ignores him. Unable to stand her constant refusal, the frustrated young man accosts her on dark street and rapes her. The first rape was almost accidental; he encountered her on the street and he hurt her. Unfortunately, he liked the violence and begins raping every attractive woman he sees. He is particularly violent with Lorena, a jewelry saleswoman whom he beats up in a park before violating her.

Alors que l’homme est entre la vie et la mort à l’hôpital, l’affaire sidère les collègues de la magistrate, à commencer par Antoine Dupraz, son ex-mari, procureur général, pour qui ce geste demeure incompréhensible. Interrogée par la procureure Carla Meier, récemment nommée, Anne refuse de s’expliquer. Quelques semaines plus tôt, un doigt de femme avait été découvert dans la cuisine de l’établissement, mobilisant les inspecteurs Jasna Shaqiri et Thomas Hoffman. Au fil des auditions, Anne finit par révéler qu’elle s’est prostituée à Paris, de 19 à 24 ans, sous le nom de Sacha pour le compte de Sarreti, qui s’appelle en réalité Philippe Teissier. Elle avoue également avoir participé à l’enquête sur lui, en toute illégalité. C’est ainsi qu’elle a approché Mila, une jeune prostituée roumaine, qui lui a confié avoir vu l’assassin de Larissa, une travailleuse du sexe disparue...

"Un Crime" takes place over a single night, between 10pm and 6am. It takes place in a single setting - a millionaire's apartment in Lyon. The film is about the conflict between two men, alone, face to face in the closed world of the apartment. The first man is a famous lawyer named Dunand. The second is Frédéric Chapelin-Tourvel, Dunand's rich client, twenty years his junior. Throughout the night, Dunand tries to track down the truth. Did Frédéric kill his father and mother, in particularly barbarous circumstances ?
