中野裕之プロデュースによる短編集。SFシリーズ第3弾は、ショートフィルム集。安藤政信、ピエール瀧ら俳優やミュージシャンが監督した作品と中野監督の作品の助監督を務めた芹澤康久が初監督作品などで構成。安藤政信初監督作品は、幸せだった頃の天使のような妻（麻生久美子）との思い出の映像をクラシックの名曲で綴った『アダージェット』。ピエール瀧監督作品『県道スター』は、ＵＦＯを追いかける田舎のヤンキー弁天さんと原付バイクで追いかけるヤンキーのゴロー（安藤政信）とのコメディアクションを。中野裕之監督は、シティボーイズ主演でリストラされたサラリーマンたちの友情をコミカルに描く『仲良きことは良き事かな』。芹澤康久監督作品『ハナとオジサン』は、美少女ハナとオジサン（ピエール瀧）との心温まるハートフルストーリー。麻生久美子、安藤政信、ピエール瀧、村上淳などのナカノワールドの住人たちが新しいクリエイターとのコラボレーションを実現した新しいプロジェクトが“ SF Short Films”。

It revolves around Tsuyama, a driver for a call girl business in Toyama Prefecture, who comes across a mysterious counterfeit bill and has his life targeted by underworld kingpin Kurata. Is his story fact or fiction? His editor, Nahomi Torikai, decides to verify whether his latest work is mere fiction based on real-life experiences. She looks into a family that vanished, a post office worker who went missing, a shady load of cash, the whereabouts of the doves, and the fateful encounter from that night... A series of shocking facts are revealed from Tsuda’s stories. Why did the counterfeit money end up in Tsuda’s hands? What is the “ending” that Tsuda wished to portray?

全話を通じて真木よう子が主演を務め、毎回異なった演出家・脚本家・共演者によって制作されたオムニバスドラマ。テレビ東京系の深夜ドラマだが、系列以外のネット局でも放送されている。
ドラマの内容はラブストーリー、コメディ、ナンセンス、シリアスなど幅広い。
当初は全13話の予定であったが、全12話+特別編という構成になった。

本作は、気鋭監督が製作費自腹で競い合った『刑事〈でか〉まつり』企画の第2作です。主役は刑事、上映時間は10分以内、1分に1回のギャグを入れるというルールで制作された前作に、今回は主役を女刑事にするというルールが加わりました。

第6弾：ミツオ
2002年11月12日 - 12月3日：全4話
ジャニーズ事務所に所属するメンバーが、一般に舞台などで活躍している劇団とタッグを組み制作される番組。
それぞれの話は主として4話構成で、第4話の放送翌週に総集編を兼ねた撮影の裏側を特別編として放送している。
もともとは、前番組である「少年タイヤ」の後期にて、人気の舞台演目を少年隊中心にキャスティングして「少年タイヤ『ドラマセレクション』」として披露していたもの。
その後少年隊メンバー個々のスケジュールの都合でブッキングが難しくなったため、ジャニーズ事務所所属のメンバーに代理を頼んでいたが、結局少年隊メンバー全員が出演しない事態となったため、路線変更したとされる。「舞台とテレビのコラボレーション」と称し、オープニングでは岡本健一が支配人としてナビゲートを行っていた。

『深津絵里のblack comedyブラコメ』は、短編小説ばかり書いている女性をナビゲーターに、ブラックな味わいのショートストーリーで構成された全20話のシリーズ。深津絵里主演の実写版9話、深津絵里の朗読とCGアーティストの競作となる11話を組み合わせている。

Miyako works as a call girl, living with her close friend Sakiko. After encountering a client, Shintani, with whom Miyako experiences sexual pleasure for the first time in her life, the two women begin to drift apart. Miyako suggests that Shintani should sleep with Sakiko, an event that draws the three into a love triangle in which their various flaws and anxieties are reflected.

Hiroshi has given up on his dreams of becoming a painter and works part-time cleaning office windows. He learns that he has only 3 months left to live. During his last summer, high school student Mai appears. Hiroshi becomes attracted to her.

Sin is a rock star. He has an amazingly loud voice with a range of four octaves. His secret is that he has created his voice through a method of vocal cord doping. His voice is now teetering on the edge, due to side effects from the vocal cord doping. Around this time, Sin meets Fūka, who is a street musician. When Fūka sings, her voice is so small. Due to Fūka, Sin looks back upon his past.

物語の舞台は、大阪の端っこのとある町。深夜の住宅地で、中年の男が殺害された――犯人は高校生だった。高校2年生のえんは、親友の琴子と退屈な日々を送っていたが、琴子がサッカー部のナリヒラ君に一目惚れしたことで、2人は徐々にすれ違うようになっていく。同じ高校に通うジュンは、母が家を出ていったことを無視し続ける父親に何も言えぬまま、放課後ショッピングモールで時間をつぶす。やがて、ブルーハーツを聴きながらふと通りかかった屋上で、東京から転校してきた伊尾と会い、求めるものもわからぬまま体を重ねるようになる。
偶然ナリヒラ君の秘密を知るえん、急接近した2人を見て見ぬふりをする琴子、サッカー部キャプテンの岡田、思いの捌け口を見つけられないジュン、田舎に閉じ込められた自分と義母を重ねる伊尾。そんなある朝、父親殺しの犯人が逮捕されたことで、郊外の気怠い空気とそれぞれの感情が混じり合い、物語が疾走していく。
