’33 días’ es la primera serie de televisión creada por el prestigioso periodista de investigación Carles Porta. Está inspirada en la historia real de la fuga de dos presos de la cárcel de Ponent en Lleida. A partir de su fuga se convertirán en el objetivo principal de los Mossos d'Esquadra en una búsqueda que durará 33 intensos días contados a lo largo de seis episodios. La ficción narra esta huida desde el punto de vista de los dos prófugos, pero también poniendo el foco en el equipo de investigación de los Mossos, un cuerpo policial recién creado que se verá cuestionado por el resto de las instituciones. José Manuel Poga y Julián Villagrán se ponen en la piel de Prieto y Calatrava, esos dos presos que tendrán en vilo a los Mossos durante 33 días. Mientras que Nausica Bonnín y Pau Durà interpretan a los agentes Clara Moyano y Pau García, al frente de la investigación. The film tells the story of a young accountant (Herrán) on remand pending trial for embezzlement and possibly facing 10 to 20 years in prison, a disproportionate sentence for the nature of his crime. However, this is 1977 and inside the Modelo prison it is a case of survival of the fittest. Despite everything working against his acquittal, the young man refuses to dive up and joins a group of prisoners preparing to demand amnesty. If things are changing outside the prison, they must also change inside. This becomes COPEL, the Coordination of Fighting Prisoners.

Set in 1978, the film marks the fourth joint effort between Monzón and Jorge Guerricaechevarría, and tells the action-packed, adrenaline-fuelled story of 17-year-old Nacho Cañas, an introverted student who lives in Girona and who is something of a misfit. When he meets El Zarco and Tere, young delinquents from the city’s Chinatown district, he gets caught up in a love triangle that leads him to indulge in an unrelenting onslaught of thievery, burglary and hold-ups that will change his life forever. The film is the chronicle of the summer during which Nacho experienced his first love and came of age, constantly crossing the boundary between two worlds, and overstepping the line that exists between right and wrong, between justice and injustice.
