This was a lot of fun when you were a kid playing this with your cousins in front of a TV and together trying to figure out where to go and what to do. Playing it alone on your computer as an adult is not the same.

It's a very simple puzzle-platformer. The puzzles take a second to figure out. But it does that Prince of Persia thing where every animation is super elaborate. It's pretty, in fact this might be one of the prettiest Genesis games I've ever seen. But every action takes like 3 entire seconds to do, and after a while it just becomes a slog. Especially when you realize you missed something and have backtrack. Especially through water, as it takes like 3 seconds to just enter the water and then within it every turn takes like 1.5 seconds, it's so painful.

Also, there are textboxes and, idk if it's just my filter, but these names are unreadable.

P.S. I have no idea what's with the blue letterboxing. That's how the game runs in my emulator. I don't think it's the emulator.
