Patriot Act was a response to the lie constructed as pretext to conquer Iraq, as staging ground for eventual, now imminent, conquest & plunder of Iran - an enabling, nonresponse to the actual hijacker terror-state of al-Saud which attacked the US on 9/11/01. Cynthia Olivera is a Canadian who’s been living in the US since she was 10 years old.
She’s now in ICE custody, after being grabbed at her green card interview.
The 45 year old wife and mother of 3 has been moved between detention facilities while her husband begs ICE to let her get on a plane to Canada.
They’re willing to pay. She’s willing to leave. But she can’t escape.
This is why we call them concentration camps.
There’s no due process. Some people go in and never come out.
Also worth noting her husband voted for Trump because he supported his mass deportation plans.
He didn’t think it would impact people “like them”. Only “others”.
This is why we fight for the rights of everyone.
We aren’t safe until everyone is safe.

What happened to Renee Nicole Good is not an anomaly or a rare phenomenon.
The only unusual factor is that she was white.
A Black man named Keith Porter was shot & killed by ICE on New Year’s Eve.
Marimar Martinez was shot five times by an ICE officer in Chicago who went on to brag about leaving seven holes in her body. She survived but has a hole in her arm forever.
Silverio Villegas González was shot dead in Franklin Park Illinois when he panicked and tried to run.
Then there’s the more than 30 people who’ve died in the camps.
No accountability. No punishment.

Meanwhile, in Colorado, we are trying to learn from MSP resident actions.
