The tip of a peninsula on a foggy morning in November. Several trees, mostly deciduous and now leafless, though the maple on the left still clings to it's foliage, stand near the shoreline of the lake. The undergrowth is frosted. The trees are reflected on the surface of the lake. A mountain ridge in the background is almost completely obscured by the fog except at the extreme left.

Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Eagan, MN, is a vast natural area offering over 2,000 acres of scenic landscapes, including forests, lakes, and rolling hills. It is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts, with a variety of recreational opportunities like hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, and cross-country skiing in the winter. The park also features well-maintained trails, a visitor center, and campgrounds, making it a great spot for both day trips and extended stays.

Proof of lifeThis post does not indicate my return. I'm still recovering from what was a worse bout of COVID than I'd have hoped for. Hours after posting my positive test result 8 days ago and professing mild symptoms, I developed a 104⁰ fever, head to toe rash, delirium, and collapse.
