Rated Doctor Who Series III, Vol. 4: Dead Man's Hand 8/10
Quite good, though a bit crammed full of real life characters.

Rated Doctor Who: The Ninth Doctor Adventures - Buried Threats 10/10
<div>I am still so glad we get more Ninth Doctor stories, and this time, we even get Bernice Summerfield. What a treat.</div>
Rated Doctor Who: 100 9/10
<div>Really solid set of shorter trips featuring the Sixth Doctor and Evelyn. A lot of funny bits too.</div>
Rated Doctor Who: Babblesphere 8/10
Enjoyable take on how social media could become nefarious, with a funny cameo at the end.
Rated Doctor Who: Beyond War Games 9/10
<div>The Ice Warrior story is maybe a smidge less interesting than the first story, "The Final Beginning," but whatever, this is still great. Michael Troughton sounds SO much like his father, and I always enjoy hearing Jon Culshaw as the Brig. The Second Doctor is one of my favs.</div>
Rated Doctor Who: Dark Eyes 2 8/10
Re-listen 12/17: Still excellent. Got more of the details this second time around. The Master swooning over the Eighth Doctor's appearance is delightful also.<br><br>Original review:<br>I feel like I need to listen to this a second time to properly unpack it. There's a lot going on, and shifts in time are a different experience when it's an audio adventure. One of these days I'll have a lie in with a Dark Eyes 1 and 2 marathon, and I think I'll better see the full scope of the story. Much like the TV show, one often notices more the second time through. That said, I still really loved this, and it's cool to hear Alex Macqueen from The Thick of It and the woman who played Ruth (Nicola Walker) on Spooks/MI-5. Good stuff. I'm looking forward to the next installment.
Rated Doctor Who: Jubilee 10/10
A very strong Doctor Who story in that it demonstrates the differences between the Doctor and the enemies he fights, but also shows how fine a line it is between "good" and "evil," and how without pausing to examine why we do the things that we do, and how those things/help or hurt, we can just as easily become those against whom we fight. <br><br>Also, I like Evelyn Smyth as a companion, but I haven't listened to enough of her yet!
Rated Doctor Who: The Eighth Doctor Adventures - Connections 10/10
<div>REALLY excellent set of Eighth Doctor stories, particularly the last one, "Albie's Angels."</div>
Rated Doctor Who: Deadly Strangers 8/10
Rated Doctor Who: Doom Coalition 1 10/10
This is easily one of the best Doctor Who audio adventures I've heard so far. Divided into four different sections, each has a different set of challenges that all relate to the overarching chaos caused by a criminal Time Lord called The Eleven. McGann's Doctor is both serious and Romantic-with-a-capital-R, and this and the forthcoming Doom Coalition sequels will inch him closer to the changes the Time War will bring.<br><br>What makes Big Finish stories different from regular audiobooks is that you also get music, background noise, and lot more context clues that aren't necessarily reliant on traditional narration. They're like throwbacks to radio dramas of old, but acted much like they would be on screen. While I still think it's a shame that one of my favorite Doctors has had very little screen time, I always enjoy hearing Paul McGann's voice. It's as handsome as he is, really, so if you needed one more thing to motivate you finally diving into these stories, I hope that helps.<br><br>(See the rest of my Top 10 Favorites from 2015 at <a href="http://glorifiedloveletters.blogspot.com/2015/12/glorified-love-letters-top-10-favorite.html">Glorified Love Letters</a>.)

Rated DOCTOR WHO: DARK HORIZONS 8/10
Had some clunky writing, but storywise, this is a good Doctor Who novel that also hints at some Doctor back story re: his family.
Rated Doctor Who: Destination Nerva 8/10
I think, apart from the 50th Anniversary adventure, this is my first Fourth Doctor audio. It was good. Just the right amount of time spent, good pacing. And I always enjoy Leela.
Rated Doctor Who: Empty Vessels 8/10
<div>Enjoyed the Zygon story more than I enjoy most Zygon stories. I mean, they're fine as a villain, but I'm never all that excited about them. </div>
Rated Doctor Who: Enemy Aliens 10/10
This one was a lot of fun. It's really too bad we never got Charley and the Doctor on TV.

Rated Masterful Doctor Who- Limited Edition 10/10
Was I in it for some mind-blowing, canon-defining story? No. And this didn't need one either. I wanted to hear a whole bunch of Masters galavant around the universe and be kinda mean to each other, and this delivered.
