Rated Conducting Law and Society Research: Reflections on Methods and Practices 10/10
The authors interview various law and society scholars to show how they arrived at their themes, how they developed methodological knowledge, what adaptations they had to do and so on. The result is a more "realistic" view of practice than the sanitised versions offered by methods sections and textbooks.<br/>

Rated The Age of Low Tech: Towards a Technologically Sustainable Civilization 4/10
This book has some valuable contributions, such as avoiding techno-solutionism and pointing out many problems could be adequately (or even better) solved with technology far behind the bleeding edge of innovation. But, even if—unlike me—one can look at the author's de-globalising view as something positive for highly developed societies, the book certainly fails to tackle how many of its proposed solutions could contribute to amplifying global inequalities and oppression beyond the Global North.
Rated A Citizen's Guide to Artificial Intelligence 8/10
A good introduction to AI technologies and their ethical, legal, and social implications, even if verging on techno-optimism at times.
