Rated Bumba Queen Weave 8/10
This is a short book recommended for older kids and young teens (8-12), I believe. It is about a girl that lives with a witch and a dragon. Why is she there? She seems to be lost in that part of the world. What must she do to go back to her part of the world? To do that, whe must face her fears. But she is a dragon too (figuratively).

We follow our hero ("Kid", in Lady Shriv's words) in her journey. And then there is a plot twist. But, OK, I can tell much here.

One thing I didn't like much about this book is that I wanted more dialogues. And one thing that I liked is that it is full of content although very short.
Rated Facing Troublemakers 6/10
This book deals with an important problem for adults: dealing with troublemakers.
Even though I praise the effort of the author, I didn't like this book that much. Maybe it is not for me but maybe it will be great for you.

My point is that the book was too abstract for me. There was no story to spice it up. For instance, I like Nassim Nicholas Taleb's books. Even thought he deals with serious subjects, he is always adding stories to his text. Cal Newport and Malcolm Gladwell do it too. It is a talent I still do not have.

This book is basically a long list of bullet points with the points the author thinks are important. If you prefer short books with condensed content, that's the book for you. You will read it in a few hours.

Rated Please Don't Tell Cooper He's a Dog (Mom’s Choice Award Recipient—Gold) 10/10
This is a beautiful children's book that can be read by adults too. It tells the story of Cooper, a fascinating dog that, it seems, thinks he is a human. Every page contains a small poem and a beautiful image. It is a very easy read. I would love to have kids to read this book to.

Rated Seven Languages in Seven Weeks: A Pragmatic Guide to Learning Programming Languages 10/10
I have read this book eight years ago and it still is one of my favorite books.
In the past months I have had the pleasure of getting in touch with the author (now he has a company called Groxio which helps you become a better developer) and I can understand even more what he thinks about the importance of learning different programming languages.

An important fact: this book helped Jose Valim create Elixir.
Rated Quadribol Através dos Séculos 8/10
Rated On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft 10/10
This is a book mostly about writing fiction, but it can be useful to those that want to write non fiction too.

The first part is mostly an autobiography and King is an excellent writer, so this part is very entertaining.
Rated Digital Minimalism: Choosing a Focused Life in a Noisy World 10/10
This book was much more useful than what I expected. Cal gives you a tough but simple way to get rid of digital distractions but still use technology.
