Rated mental_floss: The Book: The Greatest Lists in the History of Listory 8/10
If nothing else, Mental_Floss: The Book is excellent material for the trivia nerd in your life, and I'm sure I will be using the site's future lists to badger unsuspecting relatives and Facebook/Twitter friends.

For super awesome facts and the use of an interrobang, my full review can be found on Glorified Love Letters.
Rated Mistake 6/10
Mistake very much mimics the chaos of a noisy brain attempting to process some major life event. It's a volume I will likely reread once more, as now I feel compelled to better understand. Even flipping through for the purpose of reviewing, after reading it twice, I already notice more about what is happening on the page. I wouldn't say I loved Mistake, but I liked the challenge, and anything that makes me want to revisit it is probably a good thing. Students of poetry, I would certainly recommend doing the same.

(My full review appears on Glorified Love Letters.)
Rated Moriarty by Anthony Horowitz 6/10
I wanted to like this more than I did.
Rated Why Our Decisions Don't Matter 6/10
In essence, the book argues that, while we may be able to control our reaction to the world, we cannot control the world itself. Like the rest of the WHY series, it's thought-provoking and covers a wide range of source material. Good stuff.

(Full review can be found on Glorified Love Letters.)

Rated Men, Women, and Children 6/10
I'm not sure I'd go so far as to call Men, Women and Children beautiful, but I do recognize the intricate dance Kultgen has created. Each story element cycles into the other, and there is certainly no ambiguity, but I find it hard to say whether or not I enjoyed the book. It was compelling, thought-provoking and well-written, but "enjoy" is not the right verb. That doesn't mean it isn't worth reading. It is a modern cautionary tale mixed with voyeurism, and it is not without humor, but I can't say I felt good after reading it.

(My review can be found on Glorified Love Letters.)
