Reminder that "sometime not long after December 15th", the botsin.space server, a home to many of your favorite creative bots, will be entering a read-only mode, before its planned shutdown.
(The server will run until at least March 2025.)

Looks like https://botsin.space is officially read only. There's plenty of options for moving your bot though!
You can self host Mastodon, GoToSocial (recommended), or the various other options. The more complex, but better long term option.
You can use something like what @Edent has put together, a simple PHP script that allows you to post to the fediverse https://gitlab.com/edent/activity-bot/
Ask your own instance's admin whether you can use the instance you're already on. Getting permission is important - bots can have wildly different requirements than a typical user!
Help support Floofy.tech's infrastructure with a small subscription to https://botsinbox.net/. £1/month/bot, which can be waived depending on your financial situation.
Other bot-specific instances have cropped up! If you run one, feel free to leave it as a reply :)
With #bluesky getting more popular, the section of Bluesky bots on Botwiki keeps growing.
