Suwerenność Europy stoi pod znakiem zapytania. Dopóki 80 procent europejskich produktów i usług cyfrowych pochodzi ze Stanów Zjednoczonych, szantaż będzie się rozwijał.</p><p>Europa potrzebuje teraz niezależnej europejskiej infrastruktury – zwłaszcza rodzimych sieci społecznościowych, które zapewniają równe warunki dostępu do informacji, chronią wolność mediów i gwarantują prawdziwą wolność słowa, w tym prawo do dostępu do faktów, a nie kłamstw i propagandy. Niedawna umowa dotycząca TikToka w Stanach Zjednoczonych, gdzie Trump bawi się pomysłem przekształcenia platformy w narzędzie propagandy MAGA wraz z przyjaznymi inwestorami, powinna wywołać dreszcze w Europie.
