Would anyone in <a href="/tags/exeter/" rel="tag">#Exeter</a> <a href="/tags/devon/" rel="tag">#Devon</a> like some rather unhappy Pinus mugo 'mops' or Juniper procumbens 'nana'? They've been used in an experiment, grown under different light regimes and over watered to see how that affects the concentration of a metabolite, then given a very severe haircut to harvest and quantify that metabolite, but they haven't been exposed to any plant pathogens or anything. If they survive they deserve a comfortable retirement for their services to science.
