<p>Does anyone here have experience with federated Forgejo (v13.0.4)? I set it to enabled in the .ini file and restarted, but what will happen as a result? <p>Another small step in Forgejo federation.</p><p>Getting Forgejo and mastodon services to talk had some unexpected pitfalls. <br>Mastodon only federates on port 443 for example, that means Forgejo needs to be able to listen on a privileged port even for testing. You can imagine the troubles setting up our e2e tests properly. </p><p>This is finally behind us and were now aiming to integrate the test into the automated test suite (with a lot of work already done by <span class="h-card"><a href="https://frogs.lgbt/@famfo" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>famfo</span></a></span>) </p><p><a href="/tags/mastodon/" rel="tag">#mastodon</a> <a href="/tags/forgejo/" rel="tag">#forgejo</a> <a href="/tags/federation/" rel="tag">#federation</a></p>
