Na fedi jest troche jak na osiedlu. Tu sąsiadcze często widziane, tam sąsiadka raz po raz coś ugotuje, a tamten sąsiad często sport robi.
Są czasem spotkania na ławce, plotki ploteczki, wiadomo kto co i jak. Często przez drogi osiedlowe przejeżdżają zautomatyzowane rowery, krzycząc coś o jakiś statystykach lub emotke czy obrazek, dziwnym trafem o 21:37.

Here is a preview design for a (business) card promoting the Fediverse (made in Inkscape).
I plagiarized the idea from @juergen_hubert who has created card templates people can print and give out at protests.
Instead, i'm doing fully designed cards for more generic use. Lending my graphic design skills to the community. I will put these out as print ready files under a (non-commercial) Creative Commons license - so anyone can get a stack cheaply printed themselves to give out places or leave in coffee shops etc.
If there is interest, I will do a bunch of different designs, different languages, and a US size (I'm designing to EU standards). Plus maybe some stickers and posters too?
This particular design is my trademark 'busy with movement' style. I've based the design on the colours and shapes from the official Fediverse logo.

#FediAlgo (the customizable timeline algorithm / filtering system for your Mastodon feed) v1.2.2 is deployed now. Has a switch that makes sure any #hashtags / users / etc. that you follow are displayed as filter options even if they don't meet the minimum number of recent toots threshold.

I'm from the oldest incorporated city in so-called #canada, #SaintJohn - home of the #irving empire.
I am an iconoclast - staunchly #antifascist, #antiracist, #anticapitalist, somewhere on the #autism spectrum, and 3 years into punishing #LongCovid. #WearAMask!!!
I've worked the last decade as #HeadOfSound at a beautiful heritage #theatre. Before that I was in #tech for a decade doing #development and #reverseEngineering. I've also worked in #electronics and other #audio fields.
I grew up in a musical family and have played in bands since 13. I'm on around 60 albums, have toured canada and the us, and am part of what is likely the most prolific band in canada: #Slugmilk.
I run a home mixing studio and a small printshop and I have a small "datacentre" which #selfhosts this #mastodon instance.
I'm here on the #fedi to learn from everyone, and to help others learn. I will help anyone with anything I can.
