<p>Oh, hey, like so many people, it's my third <a href="/tags/fediversary/" rel="tag">#fediversary</a> today! I love it here. I love meeting people who are different from me and learning how they rock. ("Rock" was an autocorrect from "tick," but I think it's just as good, so I left it.) </p><p>I still know almost nothing, thanks to breaking my brain, but I enjoy hearing about what everyone is up to. I try to spread happiness and understanding as much as I can, because there's too much sadness and badness in the world. </p><p>If you're reading this, I love you. Even Nicole, whoever you are. ❤️</p>

And now that I think about it, that makes it two years since I started my <a href="/tags/friendica/" rel="tag">#Friendica</a> instance. I've been on the <a href="/tags/fediverse/" rel="tag">#Fediverse</a> for much longer of course (including other <a href="/tags/activitypub/" rel="tag">#ActivityPub</a> apps I've hosted here such as <a href="/tags/akkoma/" rel="tag">#Akkoma</a> and <a href="/tags/firefish/" rel="tag">#Firefish</a> ), but still, happy <a href="/tags/fediversary/" rel="tag">#Fediversary</a> to me!
<p>This Saturday, the 24th, will mark exactly three years since I ran away from home to join the Fediverse!</p><p>In the 1095 days betwixt, I have learned a ton from y'all, grown so much as a person, had a bunch of adventures, and changed most of my life <img src="/proxy/emoji/29572/c8b9137fcf.gif" class="emoji" alt=":gay_alice_shades:" title=":gay_alice_shades:"> </p><p>Some of the highlights were:<br>- ⚧️ discovering I'm nonbinary<br>- 💞 surviving a suicide attempt<br>- 🧠 writing a cool paper on autism diagnosis<br>- 🏃🏼♀️ leaving my abusive marriage<br>- ❤️🩹 doing suicide prevention check-ins with folx<br>- 🔞 becoming an adult content creator<br>- 😘 dating a few Fedi folx<br>- ❤️ meeting my two amazing partners<br>- 🔓 becoming RedTeamTools' brand ambassador<br>- <img src="https://neodb.social/media/emoji/lgbtqia.space/TeslaFire.png" class="emoji" alt=":TeslaFire:" title=":TeslaFire:"> making the TeslaFire emoji<br>- 💝 meeting like 100 Fedi folx IRL<br>- 🐈 saving a cat<br>- 🩸 paying a street medic's medical bills<br>- ❤️🔥 founding <span class="h-card"><a href="https://masto.thefword.club/@AltAfterDark" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>AltAfterDark</span></a></span><br>- 🐟 saving a couple big fish from a net<br>- 🩹 helping multiple people recover from surgeries<br>- 🤯 being followed by over 7000 of you<br>- 🫠 getting fan art & music from y'all<br>- 🤘 learning electric guitar & bass</p><p>And *all*¹ of those were only possible because of you.
