<p>Yesterday afternoon I took part in the 'From Soil to Servers' workshop <span class="h-card"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@cc_utrecht" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>cc_utrecht</span></a></span> by Sunjoo Lee, Fieke Jansen & <span class="h-card"><a href="https://post.lurk.org/@kaeru" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>kaeru</span></a></span></p><p>Very inspiring to see bacteria in mud producing electricity. Enough to power an AtTiny85 MCU, or a small clock. Great for powering kinetic art, sensors, tiny lights & to reflect on energy use.</p><p><a href="https://creativecodingutrecht.nl/en/archive/soil-to-servers" rel="nofollow" class="ellipsis" title="creativecodingutrecht.nl/en/archive/soil-to-servers"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">creativecodingutrecht.nl/en/ar</span><span class="invisible">chive/soil-to-servers</span></a></p><p><a href="https://sunjoolee.com/Electric-Garden-Detail" rel="nofollow" class="ellipsis" title="sunjoolee.com/Electric-Garden-Detail"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">sunjoolee.com/Electric-Garden-</span><span class="invisible">Detail</span></a></p><p>If only we could grow the electrical components as well...</p><p><a href="/tags/art/" rel="tag">#Art</a> <a href="/tags/sustainability/" rel="tag">#Sustainability</a> <a href="/tags/solarpunk/" rel="tag">#SolarPunk</a> <a href="/tags/future/" rel="tag">#Future</a> <a href="/tags/hope/" rel="tag">#Hope</a> <a href="/tags/utrecht/" rel="tag">#Utrecht</a> <a href="/tags/hofvancartesius/" rel="tag">#HofVanCartesius</a></p>
<p>I look forward to the post capitalist days when I can go outside and enjoy the green shaded paths, and graze from the abundance on trees and bushes at will, watch all the colorful birds, and meet up at the local makerspace, skillshare, tool and appliance library, repair cafe, music, art studios & gallery and performance space, farmers market, coop greenhouse & solar powered food trucks in former parking lots, gardens, flea markets, etc. that took over a former mall. </p><p><a href="/tags/vision/" rel="tag">#vision</a> <a href="/tags/future/" rel="tag">#future</a> <a href="/tags/solarpunk/" rel="tag">#solarpunk</a></p>
